Objectives of the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Singapore

 

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE DIPLOMATIC MISSION

The Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Singapore maintains and promotes relations between Angola and Singapore, and the other sixteen countries under the jurisdiction of the Diplomatic Mission.

We deal with a wide range of political, commercial, economic questions of interest to Angola and to Singapore. Our consular team in Singapore and Manila (The Philippines) provide consular assistance to Angolan nationals in (Singapore, The Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Timor-Leste, Brunei, Salomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Marshall Islands, Palau, Nauru, Kiribati, Fiji, Samoa and Papua New Guinea).

The Ambassador Daniel Antonio Rosa is responsible for the direction and work of the Diplomatic Mission and the Consular Sectors. The Mission and Consular Sectors are tasked to promoting Angola policies to the Singaporean Government and to Singaporeans, and to Governments and Citizens of the sixteen countries under the jurisdiction of the Embassy listed above; to report their  policies and views to the Government in Luanda, and to support Angola interests. Although we do not have press and cultural services, we are also responsible for press and cultural relations and for consular services. The Embassy is also engaged in trade and investment between our countries. The Angolan Embassy is in Singapore and has a small Office in Manila (The Philippines). Members of our team travel throughout the countries of our coverage.
